The area is underlain by pre-Upper Triassic felsic and mafic phyllites and intercalated limestone, dolomite and greenstone of the Stikinia Terrane. These are cut by northwest trending faults. Quartz and quartz-carbonate veins are common in gossanous zones which have extensive siliceous and carbonate alteration.

Pyrite and minor arsenopyrite and stibnite occur in the altered quartz-carbonate zones and the phyllite units. Galena occurs in quartz veins, which have been found as float in the same location as the showing marked on GSC Map 1262A. A rock sample assayed 5.4 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 10158).
